GRP tube is made by pultrusion process.
Pultrusion process is a special process in composite material forming process. Its advantages are as follows:
1. The production process is fully automated and the production efficiency is high. 2. Fiber content in GRP tube can be up to 80% by pultrusion, and dipping under tension can give full play to the role of reinforcing materials, and the product has high strength.
3. The longitudinal and transverse strength of the product can be adjusted arbitrarily to meet the application requirements of different mechanical properties.
4. There is no corner waste in the production process, and the product does not need post-processing, so it saves labor, raw materials and energy consumption compared with other processes.
5. The product has stable quality, good repeatability and can be cut off at will. GRP tubes are widely used in food, chemical industry, power, dyestuff, steel, smelting, tap water, mariculture and other fields because of their excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, low specific gravity, low moisture absorption, small extension and good insulation.
