Description of FRP Phenolic Grating

FRP Phenolic Grating 1
FRP Phenolic Grating

FRP Phenolic Grating "refers to a fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) grating that uses phenolic resin as the matrix resin and glass fiber as the reinforcing material.

It is essentially a special type of fiberglass grating, whose core characteristics stem from the use of phenolic resin rather than the more common polyester resin or vinyl ester resin.

Advantages of FRP Phenolic Grating

FRP Phenolic Grating 3

Excellent high temperature resistance
Phenolic Grating can maintain stable performance in sustained high temperature environments (usually up to 150 ° C-180 ° C, short-term or even higher).
FRP Phenolic Grating 4

Excellent flame retardancy
It`s able to reach UL94 V-0 level, it is not easy to burn or quickly self extinguish in flames, and The amount of smoke produced during combustion is very low.
FRP Phenolic Grating 5

Excellent chemical corrosion resistance
Especially resistant to strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid) and many solvents. Alkali resistance is usually not as good as vinyl ester resin, but  better than polyester resin.
FRP Phenolic Grating 6

High dimensional stability
The deformation is small in high temperature and humid environments, and the reinforcing effect of glass fiber provides the necessary bearing strength and stiffness.

If you need gratings to be used in environments with high temperatures, strict fire protection requirements (especially low smoke and low toxicity), or strong acid corrosion, "FRP Phenolic Grating" are the ideal or even the only feasible FRP choice.
